The Education Partnership Rebranding

The Issue

Storehouse For Teachers began as a non-profit organization with a mission to aid teachers in underprivileged school districts in western Pennsylvania with the necessary classroom supplies free of charge. Over the years, the organization took on a variety of additional activities as a facilitator among the education community, while still offering classroom supplies. The leadership of the organization turned to Atlas Marketing to establish a name change and re-branding effort that targeted the organization’s newly focused mission.

The Strategy

As the reorganization began, an overall strategic direction was established and the need arose to re-brand the non-profit to detail the new direction to include existing customers and potential donors. The opportunity to expand funding streams through other charitable funds and donor organizations was central to the new strategy. Efforts included a branding package that tells the story of the organization as it continues to evolve.

The Results

The re-branding effort culminated in the unveiling of the new organizational name as The Education Partnership. This name allowed for the refocused mission, and also provided opportunities for the organization to focus its attention on funding options within the large foundation community of western Pennsylvania. The creation of a variety of marketing pieces included a new logo and identity package used in the successful re-introduction of the organization and providing a direction for the new Board and staff.
