Crisis Communications is the topic as Martin speaks at GOSH Conference

Pennsylvania’s Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health (GOSH) Conference is held annually at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. As a presenter, Chris Martin of Atlas Marketing facilitated a workshop on crisis communications titled, “It’s not if, it’s when tips for working with the media when your crisis hits the fan.”

The topic focused on creating opportunities to strengthen corporate reputation and media relationships during a crisis. Participants learned how to prepare for conversations with the media, what the media is expecting during a crisis and how to address and speak with the media during a crisis. Within the seminar, participants also gained knowledge of crisis communications examples related to construction, utilities, and general business.
